The islet

The land, the wind and –lo! the sea
Make a dissonant symphony.
The land is full of treachery,
The sea is bare and bellicose,
The wind, the wind it always blows.
The rocky music of the band
Sounds almost pure savagery
Not tamed by any fairy sand.
There are no fiercer enemies
Than land and wind along the seas.
